Simon Pearce


Simon Pearce brings deep expertise and experience with over 20 years in the technology and software business, Simon has led several companies from the start-up phase through global expansion. Simon also serves as a partner in Toba Capital, the major investor in Quorum. Prior to joining Quorum and Toba Capital, Simon spent 15 years with Quest Software, and as the company’s first UK-based employee, he built an EMEA operation with over 300 staff members and 15 offices across the region, before moving to the US to lead a Quest Software Subsidiary based in Washington DC. He also held senior leadership roles at ParcPlace and Computer Power Group.


Gabriel Gambill


Gabe Gambill has been working in IT for over 20 years, with the last 10 in leadership positions. He specialized in full IT and DR services for financial institutions across the US.
For the last 6 years Gabe has been with Quorum in several roles from operations, manufacturing, support, and successfully opened our operations in Europe, and the rest of the world.


Marc Goroff


Dr. Marc H. Goroff has over 20 years of experience in technology and academia. Prior to cofounding Quorum® (Quorum Technology Inc.), Marc was the head of Software Development at Sandpiper Networks where he led the team that created the internet’s first Content Delivery Network. Through mergers and acquisitions, Marc continued to lead software development at Digital Island, Exodus, and Cable & Wireless. Prior to Sandpiper, Marc cofounded several successful software startups. His diverse experience has ranged from developing embedded code for real time micro controllers to operating system development on the world’s fastest supercomputers to products for distributed computing.


Matt Miller


Matt Miller brings more than 12 years of sales and management experience to Quorum, successfully growing and scaling sales teams across both emerging and established markets.
Miller joins Quorum from Symantec where he most recently served as senior director of inside sales for North America. His prior role at Symantec was director of SMB sales, where his team was selected by ICMI in 2012 as a case study in designing a sales org around customer first principles. Prior to leading the SMB sales team, Miller held numerous leadership roles in several sales and operations teams within Symantec.


Terry Welty


Terry Welty brings over 20 years of technology marketing experience to Quorum. He has worked across a broad spectrum of technologies from National Defense to ERP, and eCommerce to Security. He has a track record of bringing companies to the forefront of their industry.
Most recently he was in the electronic archiving industry where he re-engineered the go-to-market architecture and demand generation program for Smarsh. Previously he has led global marketing efforts at Duo Security, International Decision Systems, Quark and Lockheed Martin among others.


Walter Angerer


Mr. Angerer brings more than 15 years’ experience in the software industry and more than eight years’ experience leading innovation in disaster recovery. Now a venture partner at Toba Capital (which led Quorum’s $11 million Series B funding round in March 2013), he previously served as senior vice president and general manager for Quest Data Protection. Prior to Quest, Mr. Angerer held a number of positions at Symantec, including vice president responsible for NetBackup engineering. During this time, he was responsible for the creation of Symantec’s Open Storage program and later for the creation and launch of the NetBackup Appliance program and BackupExec.Cloud.
