Protection Alerts

Attached are the alerts that are sent out when protection is turned on or off on the onQ by a user that has VARAdmin user role.

Severity & Subject	Message	Cause	What do I do?
NOTIFY – Protection has been STARTED on <PN-Name>	onQ protection has been started at user request	A user that has VARAdmin user role started protection on the protected node. onQ sends this alert once – immediately.	Nothing as you must start protection in order to protect your nodes. However, if you did not perform this action, determine who is managing onQ.
NOTIFY – Protection has been STOPPED on <PN-Name>	onQ protection has been stopped at user request	A user that has VARAdmin user role started protection on the protected node. onQ sends this alert once – immediately.	Nothing as there are cases in which you might want to stop protection (see Stop node protection). However, don’t forget to restart protection (see Start node protection). Also, if you did not perform this action, determine who is managing onQ.
