Launch recovery node’s console

Use this procedure if you’d like to test a recovery node.

To launch a recovery node’s console:

1.	If the RN is an HA recovery node, start it in test mode.

Note:  You can use the console in either test mode or production mode.

2.	Go to DASHBOARD tab > RECOVERY NODES page.

3.	Click on the Console icon.

4.	Choose Open with Java Web Start Launcher to open the.jnlp file.

If your desktop cannot recognize this file, then you don’t have JRE (Java Runtime Environment) installed. Download the software from the Java site.

5.	If prompted, click OK to accept the security warning.

The onQ RN Console window appears.

6.	From the onQ RN Console, click Send Ctrl-Alt-Delete in the main menu.

Now you can log on using the host’s credentials.
