In this configuration, the onQ Archive Vault isn’t hosted by a DR or an HA - it is running on a standalone onQ Appliance (aka Archive Vault Gateway). Unlike all other configurations where the onQ Archive Vault is directly attached to a JBOD, this Archive Vault Gateway is connected to separate storage (for example, iSCSI, SAN) through a 10Gbps interface or a fiber channel interface card. The Archive Vault Gateway does require that an HA or DR be present elsewhere on the network.
